The story of Ottica Galuzzi began in 1975, the foundation year.
Ottica Galuzzi was born in Corso Lodi, a street two kilometres far from the center of the city. In 1992, the shop moved in a bigger location; the move of only 50 meters helped the shop to become a landmark for residents and people living in other Milan areas.

Milan eyes saw Ottica Galuzzi shop in 1975 for the first time.
In those years, Italian economy went through a prosperous period. Helped by this hopeful panorama, Bruno Galuzzi – a young optician, an Italian pioneer in the optometry field and a skilled investor – founded Ottica Galuzzi… back in 1975!
the early years
Marco Valsecchi – the current owner – joined in the staff in 1990, earning a key role during his career. Few years later, the shop joined in the GreenVision brand: the Italian consortium that is synonymous with professionalism, innovation and quality.

new management
In 2005, Bruno Galuzzi retired… and Marco Valsecchi became the new owner!
Customers knew Marco very well: they considered him the “natural” Bruno’s son! He continued to suggest only high quality products in line with trends; the interpersonal relationships strengthened so much that now Ottica Galuzzi counts about 23.000 registered customers!

With the new management, Ottica Galuzzi took a new breath… aiming at the innovation! Thanks to an useful software, Marco succeeded to analyse statistics about sales… being so able to constantly evaluate customer preferences!

website and beyond
In 2014 a profitable collaboration began and… the website was born!
Ottica Galuzzi – that for over 10 years relies on the same qualified and reliable staff – decided to consolidate its own brand. For this reason, we realized: new logo, website, social profiles, “gift cards”, Christmas cards… to be always at the forefront in terms of innovation!

The collaboration with Riccardo Anelli – the designer who takes care of our brand image – continuously grows on customers positive feedback: the website continues to draw many contacts and… it often brings new customers into the store!

interior design lovers
In 2017 Ottica Galuzzi changed furniture to gain more space.
The shop is characterized by a supporting column (made of granite), that stands out exactly in the middle of the room. In 2017, some walls were painted to remind the rough texture of the column and a part of furniture was changed to show more modern materials.
a new cool workspace
Furniture is completed by our shop windows, with which we try to create interesting and addictive atmospheres. In fact, we always look for new objects that can make the most of glasses and… bring the people attention!
